It's not a good idea to disguise swiss chard in spaghetti sauce. You're just wasting a can of tomatoes if you do that.
Also, never use old capers, even if they smell fine. They taste like someone threw up in the spaghetti sauce.
I guess that's what I get for being adventurous this week, cooking-wise.

So you experiment putting vegis in food so your kids eat it huh? I've always wondered about that book that was published about that. That is really a creative idea. My kiddos do well eating vegies and fruit right now, but maybe I'll try it anyway.
Oh my kids love veggies and fruit just fine, but I am an overachiever and want them to have several times more servings a day of vegetation than what is recommended by the USDA. So I add extra nutrition in where I can. Unfortunately, sometimes I crash and burn.
